Double Under

A skipping rep where the rope passes under your feet twice in one jump.

What it means in a class

A double under (often written DU) is one jump with two rope revolutions. It takes a fast wrist, a tall jump and a lot of patience — most people spend a few weeks whipping themselves before it clicks.

The scaled version is usually single unders at a two-to-one ratio, or a set number of attempts.

On the whiteboard

3 rounds: 50 double unders, 15 kettlebell swings.
